Project Bread's FoodSource Hotline

What is the FoodSource Hotline?

Project Bread’s FoodSource Hotline is an information and referral service designed to connect people in need with a variety of food resources in their local community. The bilingual staff, complemented by able interpretors, can assist callers in over 160 languages.

In response to the current high cost of food and fuel, Project Bread has expanded the FoodSource Hotline's hours of operation.

Expanded hours:

  • Monday–Friday: 8 A.M. to 7 P.M.
  • Saturday: 10 A.M. to 2 P.M.

FoodSource Hotline services

  • Referrals to emergency food pantries and meal programs
  • Information about SNAP/food stamps
  • Screening for SNAP eligibility
  • Information about free and reduced-price
    school and summer meal programs for children
  • Information on meal sites and home-delivered meal programs
  • Information on the Special Supplemental Nutrition Program for Women, Infants and Children (WIC)
